To be an active player in shaping the commercial agenda and ensure execution across markets, we are looking for a Chief Sales Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for all sales across the Juliana Group (excl. UK) and the customer service set-up.
More specifically, you will have the following areas of responsibility:
- Motivational leadership of the sales and customer service team with 15 employees
- Analyze market and customer trends and develop and implement market and sales strategy with external retail partners, showrooms and e-commerce in mind
- Build annual sales budgets and provide sales forecasts including ongoing follow up
- Set assortment and retail prices per market and per customer in collaboration with the marketing team
- Identify and build the future customer service model in collaboration with Customer Service Manager
- Ensure the Juliana Group differs from competition with top of class customer service and a consistent focus on customer and consumer needs
- Build specific customer plans and meet with key customers across all markets on a regular basis to implement and follow-up on plans
- Support Key Account Managers regarding sales preparations and executions
- Prepare and execute annual meetings with key customers across markets
You will be based at the head office in Odense, and you can look forward to 45-50 travel days per year to meet with customers and participate in fairs and shows. As part of the Juliana Group leadership team, you will have a strong voice in the commercial agenda – and thereby significant influence on the business development.
You report directly to CEO, Jesper Vilstrup, who has an inclusive, trustbased and open leadership approach and who is known for his ability to relate to employees.
Motivating leader with strategic sales mindset
We are seeking a Chief Sales Officer with a commercial mindset, who can challenge existing norms from a strategic perspective. You do this based on your natural curiosity, analytical thinking and a structured approach. Also, it is important that execution is a key driver for you, and that you enjoy working operationally.
As a leader, you are ambitious on behalf of your team, and you provide the autonomy for them to achieve the objectives in their own way. Your leadership style is inclusive, motivating and thoughtful and with your positive mindset and ability to build relations, you quickly become a well-liked leader and a valued colleague and sparring partner.
You hold a master’s degree or higher diploma and have significant experience from a similar role, where you have worked with business and budget management across B2B, D2C, and E-commerce.
As you will have a broad interface both internally and externally, fluency in both Danish and English is essential, and proficiency in German is an advantage. Strong overall IT skills are required, and BI knowledge is a plus.

The Juliana Group has approximately 110 employees across Denmark, England and Germany. The group’s activities include design, development, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of greenhouses, orangeries, and mailboxes under the trademarks Halls, Juliana, Gabriel Ash (greenhouses/orangeries), and Allux (mailboxes and mailbox systems).
