A leading manufacturer of sustainable acoustic solutions
Kingspan Acoustics is part of Kingspan Group, the global leader in high-performance insulation and building envelope solutions. Kingspan Group operates across a wide range of international markets, developing advanced solutions within insulation, roofing, waterproofing etc. – always focusing on shaping the transition towards a net-zero built environment.
Within Kingspan Acoustics, the Finance & IT Shared Service Center develops and maintains shared digital platforms and business systems that support the business units across the organization. The current business units are Troldtekt A/S and TreeTops A/S. To support the continued development of the platform, the team is now looking for an MS Fabric Lead to take technical ownership of the Microsoft Fabric backend platform and further develop the data warehouse in collaboration with an external IT consultancy.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing and maintaining the data warehouse architecture while building data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse and Pipelines)
- Integrating and onboarding data from Business Central and other business systems, ensuring robust and scalable data flows
- Transforming, modelling and validating data using SQL and Microsoft Fabric to deliver business-ready datasets for Power BI and other data consumers
- Monitoring platform performance, data quality and pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues
- Configuring and maintaining Azure DevOps, deployment pipelines and version control, while documenting solutions, data flows and technical architecture
- Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives and design effective technical solutions
- Supporting the use of the data platform through user support, knowledge sharing and guidance on data sources, data quality and compliance
You will join a specialized team of 3 colleagues (including you) based at the Troldtekt office in Tranbjerg, Denmark, and become part of the broader Shared Service Center of 28 employees. From here, you will support the business units across Kingspan Acoustics and report to Morten Thuesen, Manager Applications & Master Data. You will also get the chance to visit other business units approximately 1-2 times every month.
You know how to turn data into business value
We are looking for an experienced data specialist who enjoys taking ownership and turning complex technical challenges into robust, scalable solutions. You work in a structured and analytical way, navigate complex data environments with confidence and proactively drive initiatives forward. Just as importantly, you understand the business behind the technology and can translate technical solutions into real business value while building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Lakehouse and Pipelines, as well as strong SQL skills and experience designing scalable data warehouse architectures and data flows, will be a significant advantage. Ideally, you have worked with ERP integrations, preferably Business Central, and are comfortable preparing backend data for Power BI. Experience with Azure DevOps, deployment pipelines and version control is also expected.
You thrive in a collaborative shared service environment where supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge come naturally. You are adaptable, quality-driven and take pride in delivering reliable end-to-end solutions. Furthermore, you are fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
An opportunity to influence the future data platform
Through its Planet Passionate programme, Kingspan Group is working towards ambitious sustainability goals, including carbon-neutral manufacturing and zero waste to landfill by 2030. By continuously improving building performance and developing more sustainable and energy-efficient solutions, Kingspan is committed to creating long-term value for both customers and the environment
As part of the Finance & IT Shared Service Center, you will work closely with colleagues across functions and countries in an environment where quality, sustainability and responsibility are key priorities.
With the data platform continuing to evolve, you will have a genuine opportunity to influence both the technical direction and the way of working.
