When quality goes hand in hand with functionality

Since the establishment in 1999, Kingsland’s recipe has been stunning yet functional and practical attire in fine quality, which blends classic equestrian fashion and contemporary design. Today – more than twenty years later – Kingsland is a leading player in equestrian sport and lifestyle apparel.

To ensure sustained high quality in the shipping processes, Kingsland is now looking for a skilled Shipping Assistant, who can stay ahead with planning. If you are the one, you can look forward to the following job tasks:

  • Manage import and export from A-Z
  • Ensure the fundament for timely shipping
  • Controlling of shipping costs
  • Continuously follow up on KPI regarding booking, timeslots etc.
  • Freight negotiations, freight coordination and freight document management
  • Cooperation with collaborators comprising transporters and freight forwarder and contact with the public authorities regarding customs, VAT etc.

You will be based at the Kingslands office in Copenhagen, and you report to the Buying Manager.

Structure and overview are second nature to you

To succeed in the role as Shipping Assistant at Kingsland DK, you must be a worthy champion when it comes to keeping an overview while maintaining a keen eye on the important details. This benefits you when you coordinate timely shipping and ensure well-structured shipping processes in line with company aims.

You have an impressive willingness to adapt. Combined with your solution-oriented approach and your service-oriented mindset, you are always ahead with planning – and your coworkers, the transporters and the freight forwarders can count on you having a plan A, B and C.

Your education is probably a freight forwarder or similar. It is important, that you have practical experience, where you have ensured optimal coordination from A-Z and gained great knowledge regarding general export rutines and procedures. If you have experience with transporting and custom clearance of goods to the US, it is an advantage.

You master both Danish and English at a high level, and it is a big plus, if your IT-skills and your system understanding is just as excellent.

As the new Shipping Assistant, you get 35 dedicated colleagues across offices in Norway, Denmark, and China – besides salesmen, agents, and distributors in more than 15 markets.
